69 Performance Club was invited by Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society to participate in the Rotten TV program. Rotten TV is an online broadcasting platform for works of art that study and explore the idea of rottenness. This project collaborates from artists and thinkers from Indonesia, Brazil, and the UK to rethink ideas about death, life, and ecosystem renewal. This project is a partnership between Jupiter Artland (UK), Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society (Indonesia) and Casa de Povo (Brazil), coordinated by Daniel Lie (Artist, Brazil-Indonesia-Germany) and supported by the British Council. This partnership was initiated to amplify the voices of the Global South in the debate on climate justice. Rotten TV Yogyakarta satellite, operated by Cemeti – Institute for Art and Society, divides the curatorial framework of this program into three metaphorical sites, namely land, bodies, and beyond bodies (represented through explorations of the virtual or cyber world). In this project, 69 Performance Club, represented by Dini Adanurani and Prashasti Wilujeng Putri, became a collaborator of Jessica Ayudya Lesmana (artist, Yogyakarta) on Site #1 – Land. The work development process was accompanied by Otty Widasari as artistic and content advisor from October 25 – 29, 2021 and continued independently until November 12. Year Yoyakarta, Indonesia
