Black and White Film Project in Palu

After it was screened at Forum Lenteng and ARKIPEL homoludens – 6th Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival 2018, the “Black and White Film Project” by Milisifilem Collective were again screened in Palu on August 30, 2018. Ten of the fifteen participants of the Milisifilem Collective (which is also the committee of Media Art Week 2018 – Local Genius) screened their films in Ruang Dualapan; a creative and community space at Ki Hajar Dewantara street No. 28, Palu City. This film screening was intended to introduce the collective, how the process of this collective in making their works and to build a network with other collectives in Palu.

The screening of the film which began at 4 PM was attended by around twenty people, dominated by youth from Palu, Central Sulawesi, and three of them came from Manado, North Sulawesi. Some of them are also active in making films. The 80-minutes film screening was ended with a discussion about how the creative process in the production of this “Black and White Film Project”.
