This current MILISIFILEM Collective’s curatorial invites its members to collect 10-seconds daily recordings using their own camera devices. The footages, can be anything, are going to be collected daily, by three shots per person, and are to be uploaded every day for 30 days. These short video contents, later on, might become a long recording about domestic spaces, glimpses, visual notes, statements, or archives (re-recorded with cameras) which have been part of contemporary society. However, such footages will automatically bear somewhat a certain aesthetic ascendancy and socio-political history that comes along with the body of the person who recorded. At the end of this project, the collection will be edited at the end of the project into an essay film on domestic messages by purposely breaking away from those dominions. Sabda Harian (Daily Notes) runs from 24 August – 24 September 2020.
