The idea of Kultursinema is an effort of interpreting film archives to track the development of cinema in Indonesia. Kultursinema present its archives in series of installation which is also a form of cinematic experimentation. After five series, from 2014 to 2018 as part of the ARKIPEL-Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival, Kultursinema trying to run a traveling exhibition. Since the early days of film screenings in Indonesia were not held in theaters, but were held in an open air, the idea of this traveling exhibition is also to share knowledge and experience of cinema in cities other than Jakarta. Kultursinema traveling exhibition start for the first time in Bandung, in Orbital Dago gallery, from 7-11 March 2019, 10:00-19.00 WIB. In addition to the exhibition, the Pameran Keliling Kultursinema (Kultursinema Traveling Exhibition) also held the Forum Kultursinema program. This forum is a space for discussion on film and archives, especially in Bandung. On March 7, 2019 a Kultursinema Forum was held with the theme “Film Screening and Film Archives”. The speakers in this panel are Yustinus Kristianto (Film Programmer, Bahasinema), Damar Bagaskoro (Curator, Ganesha Film Festival), Fausto Axel (Head of Division, Cinema Film League Campus Student of ITB), and Carda Arifin and Yopie Nugraha (Sunday Screen). Furthermore, on March 9, 2019, the second panel of Forum Kultursinema will be held with the theme “History Writing and Film Archives” at Orbital Dago at 4:00 pm with speakers Mahardika Yudha (Curator, Kultursinema), Gorivana Ageza (Writer and Programmer, Bahasinema), and Tanti Restiasih Skober, S.S., M.Hum. (Researcher and History Lecturer, UNPAD). Then, on March 11, 2019 at 4:00 p.m., the Pameran Keliling Kultursinema will be closed with the third panel of the Forum Kultursinema entitled “Reproduction and Representation of Film Archives”. Speakers in this panel are Yusuf Ismail (artist), Afrian Purnama (Curator, Kultursinema), and Taufiqurrahman (Graphic Artist and Designer, Milisifilem). Year Bandung, Indonesia
