After three days participating in the agenda of Akademi ARKIPEL 2019 in Villa Bukit Athaya, Puncak, the participants of Milisifilem class Mawar and Melati presented their artworks based on the found object. This edition is part of Milisifilem learning process to study the found object as the stage of constructing concept in making artwork. In this presentation, the focus on making artwork is not only in its aesthetic of form. This study encourages the participants to put their idea and subjectivity on their artworks by contributing values on the objects they found, constructing them to be an object with new meaning.
Before visiting the sites of each artwork, the participated artists presented their artworks idea to all the guests of Akademi ARKIPEL 2019 who have gathered on the veranda on Thursday, January 10th 2019 at 10.00 AM. The guests were invited to join a tour to visit the sites where the artworks are located around the exterior of Villa Bukit Athaya.
